Making your Interview Successful

Review and proof read your resumé several times. Do not only use spell check, and if possible have somebody else also review. DO NOT FORGET TO BRING IT WITH YOU!

Make sure you are dressed properly:
Men-Suit & Tie
Women-Suit or Pantsuit
Well Groomed: Hair clean and combed, no heavy makeup or perfume/cologne, clean nails, fresh breath, conservative jewelry etc.

Make sure you are on time for your interview. 5-10 minutes ahead of time is appropriate.

Refrain from smoking or chewing gum.

Fill out all forms or applications you are given completely. Be careful with your spelling and be as neat as possible. Questions about salary (desired or lowest considered) answer with "negotiable".

Have a good firm handshake and use good eye contact.

Never say anything negative about a previous employer. This can make or break your interview.

Always follow up with a thank you letter.
